The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

The rising star has impressive online audience

Kai Trump can count on multiple prominent cheerleaders as she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses multiple international courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just stay calm."

"He practically suggested to go out there and relax," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in only three events recently and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

However she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He is the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a superior person. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against multiple the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials commented that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to wider groups, especially among the next generation.

Kai has a massive following and recently launched a personal fashion and living company.

Her first tee time at 17:30 GMT.
